The 2026 Off the Wall rooftop film series, Summer on the Sidelines, wraps up with pop culture’s favorite eternal teenagers. Twilight (2008, PG-13, 122 min.) is a vampire romance based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling young adult novel.
Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) leaves sunny Arizona to live with her dad (Billy Burke), a police chief in the rainy Pacific Northwest. At her new high school, she meets and falls for Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a brooding teen who spends time with other pale students who avoid the sun — because they are vampires.
The Guardian writes, “It is, in its unworldly way, sweetly idealistic with a charm all of its own: a teen romance to get your teeth into.”
